Hal Higdon’s 15k Training Plan: Week 1, Day 2 = 1/2 CHECK!
You see… I have been successful in pulling myself out of bed at 5am and getting to the gym this week, but this wasn’t the case these last couple of weeks (hence the break in my posts). Because of this momentary lapse of motivation I’m not really up to speed (play on words alert!!) on running 2.0 miles without a break – as my training plan demands of this week.
This morning instead of running 2.0 miles, I walked/ran the miles – the majority was running though, honestly! I was disappointed as I was really hoping to follow the plan exactly (for hopefully the best results).
I’ve looked it over and am hoping to catch myself up by week 3. As this is the first time I’ve ever trained for anything physical, I’m not sure if this is realistic, but heck, I’m going to try!
